Our local NPR is having a tote bag logo design contest. Although voting isn't open to the public (so I can't get my dad to vote 100 times for my victory) I still gave it a shot. Whether it wins or not I think it's pretty sweet! Angular and clean, right now my favorite things about design. I'll hopefully have an update with my winning design, but in any case I hope whoever wins blows my design out the water - being so simple I'm sure it won't be hard ;) |

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and if readers remember a few years ago I had a little lump scare of my own. It was quite a nerve wrecking experience, but my benign lump was safely removed a short time after it was discovered, but I have never forgotten how important it is to take things like lump checking seriously.
So in inspiration of #ShowMeYourPink for Breast Cancer Awareness I donned my pink vintage dress coat. Discovered in a St. Vincent de Paul's my outfit cost $6! Kind of can't believe it. Now that the weather is cooling down, it's a great fancy get up that just snaps together and makes me look like a million bucks. |
