BB Cream is one of the latest fads that has hit the US with an unstoppable force. Almost every major cosmetic company has come out with their own version of Korea's famous foundation, even some going as far coming up with hair BB Creams or CC Creams. First developed in the 1960's by German Dr. Christine Schrammek for her patients' sensitive skin, it was then perfected by the Koreans in the mid 80's.
I first used Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in 2008 and fell in love with its creamy and light consistency, yet potent coverage. Thicker than a tinted moisturizer and lighter than a regular foundation, it truly deserves the praise it gets for being one of the best BB Creams out there. With the success of BB Creams in the US, the Asian BB Creams have come out with a diverse number of shades to fit different complexions.
While I am glad the US has made their foray into BB Creams, I have yet to try one that can top Missha Perfect Cover. Most American BB Creams are nothing more than tinted moisturizers and some brands have even repackaged their existing tinted moisturizers to hop on the BB Cream craze.
